A very rare miss for John Hughes, still even when he is not at his finest, he is still better than most at what he does. The family dramadey. A tad slow and the comedy comes at odd times and with strange cutaway sequences.
Still Kevin Bacon is cool and McGovern is tragic and adorable. Worth a watch for Huhges fans, everyone else can probably skip it.
