I wasn't as charmed by this flick as I expected to be. According to her suitors, There's Something About 'Nola,' but as a viewer, I couldn't find it and therefore found it difficult to empathize.
Still, some genuinely great b&w photography makes most of it go down easy, even the film is not ultimately rewarding and too raw narratively for its own good.
