Undeniably cheesy and excessive, this teen comedy at least has a heart and some witty moments to go along with the stupid parts. The acting isn't all that great, but it doesn't really detract from the film because it is so over the top anyways.
It has some funny scenes and is at least fun to watch. It has kind of endured as a 90's teen classic somehow and has been parodied a few times, which is funny considering how over the top this already is.
