Review of Sherrybaby (2006) by Madeline K — 25 Aug 2007
A wonderful performance from Maggie Gyllenhaal compensates for a lack of depth in the film. Several important themes were touched on but, other than Sherry's own insecurities, none were properly examined.
A shame, all the performances were good but as a whole it didn't quite make the grade.
