Review of Sherrybaby (2006) by Christopher S — 10 Aug 2009
Maggie Gyllenhaal spreading her acting talent in this troubled tale of a troubled woman who just wants to do the best she can for herself and her daughter. As far as acting goes, Gyllenhaal does a great job, but the story has been done a million times and you can see that in the first 15 minutes.
Not exactly fresh, not so original. It's an okay movie due to Gyllenhaal's performance and that is that.
