Review of Sherlock Jr. (1924) by Jim B — 23 Mar 2008
Maybe the greatest comedy ever made. Keaton at the height of his powers as the greatest film comedian, with innovative filmmaking techniques decades ahead of their time, stunts that will knock your socks off (especially when you realize most of them were done just as they appear to be done), and wonderfully funny sight gags.
A masterpiece in 45 minutes.
