Review of Sherlock Jr. (1924) by Daniel W — 23 Aug 2008
Buster Keaton may be the best action star ever. The stunts in this movie are beyond belief. I was consistently blown away by the death-defying shit Keaton was doing all over the screen. Besides that, this is technically brilliant from beginning to end.
The theater scene where he's in the movie is one of the most inventive things I've seen. This isn't one of those movies where you admire it because they did all this in '24. It's just as amazing and mind-blowing today.
