Review of Sherlock Jr. (1924) by Fazley A — 04 Aug 2011
Very funny film. This was one of the first films I could recall with a love story that could work in modern times, especially the love triangle between Keaton, Ward Crane, and Kathryn McGuire, which was quite well done.
Buster Keaton is an absolute legend. He did his own stunts and just imagine if he got hurt or injured in any of his films, from this to the General. I don't believe many of the actors today would take the same risks as Keaton did.
Keaton is still a great performer over eighty years after this film was released. Great silent film.
