Review of Sherlock Jr. (1924) by Mike H — 13 Apr 2012
Of all of Keaton's independent features, Sherlock Jr. surely ranks as the most surreal and that's saying alot for a filmmaker whose work already has touches of delighfully absurd surrealism. In my opinion, this is Keaton's best silent feature before his move to United Artists (where he would direct his masterpiece "The General).
