Review of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) by Sarah V — 28 Dec 2014

I am a Sherlock Holmes fanatic - books, movies, tv shows, etc. I love the fresh presentation of my favorite character. Law shows that Dr. Watson does not have to be this ridiculous fool (which I never understood anyways considering he was supposed to be a medical doctor) to still be true to the writings.

I also love the fresh breath RDJ has breathed into Sherlock who all too often is portrayed as a stiff humorless know-it-all who is somehow able to behave very proper even when high as a kite. With all due respect to the wonderfully amazing actors who have graced us with their portrayal of these truly great characters, this new version for me is more true to the spirit of Sir Conan Doyle's writings than any I have seen.
