Robert Downey Jr. does an equally great job at reprising his role as the 19th century detective as does Jude Law and the directing was stylized to the core and yes, exciting. But in the end, Game of Shadows lacks what made it's predecessor a fun, suspenseful, mystery, a plot you can easily follow.
