Review of Sherlock Holmes (2009) by Megan W — 24 Jan 2013
This cleverly performed movie grabbed my attention from scene one. Robert Downey Jr delievers a fabulous British accent, better then what many British actors can perform, as the sharp Sherlock Holmes and his loyal side kick peformed by a surprisingly brillant Jude Law.
The Phantom Camera provided a more depth look into the action sequences which, in my point of view, was a piece of genius. The detail was spot on, but what I think is, by far, the most interesting and brillant piece of the film is the chemistry from Downey Jr and Law.
A wonderful friendship on and off screen anchors the entire movie. This film is a must see, top 10 movie.
