Review of Sherlock Holmes (2009) by Matthew H — 27 Feb 2014
Great cast: Robert Downey Jr. is his usual sarcastic self (and great for the part of Sherlock Holmes), Jude Law is a convincing sidekick, and Rachel McAdams plays her role very well. The plot is promising too, but confusing at times.
The dialogue is often too quite, which makes it hard to understand the characters with their British accents. This series has promise, but once again I would have to say that a new director is needed if it wants to take a step in the right direction.
