Review of Shenandoah (1965) by Van R — 21 Oct 2007
Definetly one of the greatest yet most somber civil war era films I've ever seen, though not necessarily a "war film" as much as it is a drama. Jimmy Stewart is great as a father trying to come to terms with the impact that the raging Civil War has on his family and his life.
