Review of Shelter (2007) by Mikhael E — 11 Jun 2008
It's an OK film and the story is just OK - a 'coming to terms with being gay' storyline (in fact, personally I find this kind of theme less appealing and less interesting). Pretty boys and girls, muscline, hopeful, happy; some tears; romance, drama, a bit of comedy, and a bit of everything else; a surfer love story.
.. even though it won't be a favourite film of mine, it's still a nice and feel good film after all - worth watching really! I do like a quote from the film "we don't belong to each other forever.
" I'm not sure about the DVD cover though - so gay! (I think Brokeback Mountain is still my favourite poster for a gay theme film.).
