Review of Shelter (2007) by Richard L — 09 Dec 2008
The movie "Shelter" was a great movie. Although it has its points where it seems cheezy for instance: When Zach asked Sean to go, and he replies surfing? and Zach says uhh duh. Even though it has two or three of those moments it is still an incredible moving film. It has everything that holds the possible same problems as those of younger people might have. It shows how Zach has to make a choice for once in his life as to if he wants to do everything to please everyone around him or for once, do what he wants and find himself.
I have seen many movies that deal with homosexuality and the problems that come with it and I will have to say this is the best. You will never find a movie like this one. It is definately my top favorites and is a keeper. I recommend this movie to all viewers.
The only thing I have realized about this movie to turn out bad is that life is never that easy but definately helps create hope for everyone out there and to show how anything can happen.
