Review of She Hate Me (2004) by Peter A — 14 Apr 2009
An idea that was probably best left as a teenage fantasy rather than the poorly realised screen play it became. This film starts off rather somber and far too serious for the comedy its supposed to be.
After it's lengthy introduction to our leading character, were suddenly shifted into softcore sex scene mode where our lead character see's enough action to compare his role to Mark Wahlberg in Boogie Nights.
So to finnish their less than stellar work up to this point, they decide to further interlink the two plots and try to make a big moral point to whole debacle. This really is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to sex comedys, theres not allot to write home about in the laugh department, except maybe the odd snicker at the films expense.
