Review of Shazam! (2019) by Thatdanner — 05 Apr 2019

This is a very well-done family film. It's funny, has a good message and was action packed to the core. Zachary Levi was a good choice of actor to fill the role of the hero and as always, Mark Strong makes for a terrifying villain.

Think of it as Deadpool for kids. It's got a diverse cast and for once, the child actors aren't terrible. The special effects are also top-notch. Easily one of the best DCEU movies since the Batman trilogy.

Hoping that the sequel is just as good! It definitely set itself up well for one.
