Honestly cannot remember the last time I smiled so much watching a DC movie. This film combines the fun of "Aquaman" with the heart of "Wonder Woman". The combination makes for the most enjoyable film in the DCEU(or whatever WB's calling it now) for all ages.
Even if the stakes never truly feel high, a lot of the CG effects leave a lot to be desired, and the villain usually approaches Marvel-villain level of quality, there's plenty of humor and heart in the story to keep you entertained throughout.
