Shazam was a pleasant surprise for the DCEU as it is heartfelt, action-packed, and features some lovable main characters. The plot keeps you on your feet and there’s never really a dull beat and features a great climax.
While lighthearted, not all the jokes really hit it for me, but the overall optimism coming from this movie was nice. However, the film was not as unique-looking as other DCEU movies and the CG was a bit mediocre.
