Review of Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015) by Dan F — 26 May 2015
As always, Ardman delivers superb animation. Script is often at fault in their theatrical efforts (except Wererabbit), so the trick here is that there isn't one- what you get is 80 minutes of visual gags and effortless, dialogue free yet spot on characterisation.
There's some lovely references, too- from Ray the Angry Skeleton (for fans of stop motion) to Silence of the Lambs; plenty of fun for all ages.
