You need movies like these every few years to remind you that family films or animation need not be big CG spectacles to dazzle, but can tell a simple and adventurous tale well with some very well crafted claymation.
Shaun The Sheep is old-fashioned animation entertainment at some of its finest. A herd of sheep search for their owner, the farmer, after an accidental stunt leads him into the city. The sheep have some hilarious encounters with blending in with the human environment, and it's fun seeing them work themselves in an out of trouble in one situation after another.
Films like these come every few years, which makes them feel that much more special when they do make a release. I had a blast and a mix of warmth and laughs watching this gem of entertainment. Don't miss it.
