The 'Be careful what you wish for' premise works well in this animated children's film. It is difficult to maintain the intensity in any movie without dialogue, and this does result in some slower sections and a thin storyline at times.
I also found the songs to be more of a distraction and seemed be just fillers. But there are some genuinely funny moments.
