Review of Shaun of the Dead (2004) by Ethan S — 27 Dec 2012
One of the most realistic zombie movie ever made, the combination of the walking dead and love in "Shaun of the Dead" was suprisingly quite pleasant. The acting was absolutely great, and I thought that the characters reacted to the living dead the same as I would.
It was also very realistic in the sense that they didn't just find guns laying on the ground for no reason, they had to find miscellaneous melee weapons to fight the zombies. The comedy was great, and I loved how they cracked jokes in the middle of all the terror.
The character's are extremely well fit for each other, and certain ones basically recreate the whole conflict, and help develop the story. This movie is just short of a classic.
