Review of Shaun of the Dead (2004) by Wil B — 29 Aug 2013
A comedy that goes beyond parodying a genre and actually feels like a breath of fresh air. You may worry about your "laughs-per-minute", but this movie has genuine characters and story that make the whole zombie genre feel interesting again.
Maybe because it takes the setting so seriously that it works, because the comedy is usually born from characters bouncing off of eachother. Shaun of the Dead is totally up there with the Zombie movie greats.
