Wright completly succeeds in pulling off the insane task of satirizing the zombie genre, and making it so loveably silly and adorable, but the same time captivating the audience by investing the audience completely in Simon Pegg's Shaun.
You feel every death and every pang of emotion that Shaun feels. Every character in the movie has their well deserved place, and every moment exists as a 100% entertaining milestone in cinema. This is the movie that all parody or satirical movies should strive to be.
