Review of Shattered Glass (2014) by Aaron P — 21 Sep 2007
Based on a true story. This is a nice and mellow but enjoyable film that has an enduring charm through it's good scripts, tempo and good acting with it's choice of low key but strong casts. This seems to be a role made for Hayden Christensen as he didn't need to act; he just needs to be himself, which is very much like the real Glass he portrait; nerdy and harmless, he was believable.
Look out for hidden joke in the film that hinted on the other Hayden film. The part where he says: "If you listen hard enough through the phone, you can hear a deep heavy breathing sound, I don't know why.
" One of the biggest challenges the film makers had was, to resist spicing up this true story with fiction. Much like the subject of this film.
