Review of Shattered Glass (2003) by Seth M — 31 Jan 2008
"In hell, all actors are forced to work with George Lucas.".
Hayden Chistensen...can..can...act!? Not quite as good as All the President's Men, this is an interesting, if predictable look at journalistic fraud at the New Republic (they continue to run into that problem too). Despite the silly congratulatory scene with Sarsgaard's Chuck Lane, this is worth repeated viewings. The movie is also measured proof that Marty Peretz is arguably one of the worst bosses on the Washington political journalism scene.
