Review of Shattered Glass (2003) by Angela P — 21 Sep 2010
Oh snap! I love this movie. I know that "The Social Network" is going to be all heavy and important and stuff, but there's nothing like pulling the layers back from professional scandal amongst yuppies with a light, nimble touch.
Very simple and entertaining. Often funny, too. Peter Sarsgaard is awesome as the put-upon new editor of the New Republic, Charles Lane. He just simmers and constantly looks like he's holding back from bitch-slapping Hayden Christensen in every scene.
Like I said, entertaining.
