Review of Shattered Glass (2003) by Kim S — 29 Jun 2007
If you like stories about journalism, all I can say this film is one you have to see. Next to "All the President's Men" it is by far the best I've ever seen on the subject. The script and direction is wonderful and all the cast is perfect.
A (surprisingly) incredible performance from Hayden Christensen, whose character keeps getting deeper and deeper into his world of lies. Peter Sarsgaard (as usual) never disappoints, and one scene with him and Christensen (when you see Glass's story falling apart) is truly amazing.
Highly recommended and as a bonus the dvd has a "60 Minutes" segment, and you'll see how closely the film follows the real-life story. This is one of my new favorites!
