Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Susan P — 13 Apr 2008
This is a film with an incredibly important message. I was shocked and extremely upset to learn how devastating the shark fin trade has been, and was won over by the scenes showing sharks as shy, intelligent animals.
The photography was beautiful. I did find the voiceover repetitive in quite a few spots, and felt that there could have been more hard information provided. I also thought it focused rather too much on him and found his voice somewhat annoying to listen to.
However, I wish everyone on the planet would see this movie so they could understand the complete insanity of wiping out the earth's largest and oldest predators.
