Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Rachelle B — 18 Apr 2008
The most astounding underwater videography I have ever seen! This documentary chronicles the DIRE need to conserve the world's shark population. To date 3 shark species are endangered (the Basking, Whale & White sharks) due to appalling practices like finning & long line fishing. Our earth depends monumentally on the ocean to maintain a stable and thriving ecosystem, however forcing top predators from it (ie: white sharks) will inevitably cause a shift in the food chain & affect every aspect of our world. Thanks to PROLIFIC men such as Rob Stewart & Paul Watson, the crusade to save these beautiful & misunderstood creatures is FINALLY being brought to a global attention.
Please see this movie & start thinking about what you can do to save the sharks of the world.
