Review of Sharkwater (2006) by Leslie S — 19 Apr 2008
Ok, so Rob Stewart appears to be a little self-absorbed - it's really irrelevant to the message and could be looked upon as confidence in what he believes in. Besides this I think everyone should have to watch this - and not write it off or ingore it so that they are more "comfortable" in their lives.
This is precisely the problem with so many things that are wrong - it's "too difficult" to accept the truth so people avoid it. This film presents another one of those truths that we need to absorb and acknowledge so that we can step through it and start solving problems - it's painful, but it needs to be done.
And I agree with a previous reviewer - if watching the finned shark floating to the ocean floor doesn't upset you then you must be seriously messed up.
