Though such a description would fit Sharknado 2, it's hard to critique it as awful simply because the film is so dedicated to delivering self aware schlock that being awful is what Anthony C. Ferrante and co were presumably aiming for.
Still, it's hard to admire the self parody when it's as obvious and in your face as, well, a tornado carrying sharks.
