Review of Shark Tale (2004) by William Z — 08 Jan 2012
DreamWorks's below sub-par response to "Finding Nemo." The jokes are not that funny, the pop culture references and overall opening story are not ones that children will be able to understand or identify with, and quite frankly, the movie is boring.
While Will Smith is undoubtedly the best thing in the picture (aside from Martin Scorsese as the voice of Sykes), the film feels like a kiddie version of "The Godfather," which while as a concept sounds interesting, is poorly executed.
