This movie is awful. In every way. It is, however, laughably inept, and a really good time, especially in the end when the shark attack mentioned in the title really occurs, and terrible green screen threatens to swallow everybody whole.
Pretty much everything you could want in a bad movie is here: laughable acting, bad dialogue, bargain-basement CGI, stock footage that doesn't fit, and the aforementioned green screen. It looks like it was made in 1980, not 2002.
But it's all part of the fun. Watch it with friends, crack jokes, and enjoy the ineptitude.
