Review of Shark Attack 3: Megalodon (2002) by Alexander Z — 19 Nov 2009
All of the actors were about as convincing as a fly pretending to be a spider. The dialogue was all over-wrought and expository. For a little while, it was just ok terrible fun, but then BAM! the shark swallows a boat and this became all sorts of brilliant, by which I of course mean, I couldn't stop laughing, whether at the acting, the horrid looking shark, the awful green screen effects, or the cheesey music, but was so entertained by it's terriblness that it became almost transcendent.
Then the scene happens, and even within the context of the movie there is no context for it! My friends and I simply talked over the rest of the movie, only mildly paying attention, because that was it.
Fucking brilliance had just occured!
