Review of Shaolin Soccer (2001) by Sebastien H — 22 Sep 2009

I have seen Crazy Kung Fu before from the same actor/director Stephen Chow, but I don't remember well, I think it was absurd but maybe quite entertaining. Anyway this time with this movie, Shaolin Soccer, I had also bad thoughts about it and it was hard to motivate myself to watch it.

Then the story (and actors and dialogs) was quite absurd as expected but anyway still ok as long as you have awesome sequences of kung fu-tbol ;-D and also funny, the goal keeper bruce lee is excellent, the hip hop football also, chow could really have done a captain tsubasa live movie (instead of producing this dragon ball evolution bullshit god damn it!!!!) >:-D.
