Review of Shanghai Noon (2000) by Jared C — 15 Apr 2009
I love this becuase of it's origianlity and ideas. Jackie Chan actually came up with the idea to make a western/ eastern film and it turns out to be one big action smash hit. The story, the characters, the music, the locations,everything about this movie is well picked and neatly done.
Jackie Chan for me this is one of his best performances and best films with his martial arts brought into this film along with Owen Wilsons comedic flaws is just a brilliant pair up. The journey these two go on is full of humor and adventure that keeps the audeince spinning around and around.
A great film.
