Review of Shane (1953) by Matthew L — 23 Aug 2008
I can see why this is such a classic. The lone rider, the man who stands his ground, does the right thing by the ones he loves and respects. But it's lacking something. I enjoyed the performance of Van Helfin but otherwise I thought the film lacked emotions.
And that super enoying kid!!?? What were they thinking... Shane, I'm sorry to say, you are not the man for me.
