A fascinating western that seems to be built around the idea that 'the perfect man' is unknowable. he will save the life of your husband, but he will never -be- your husband. he is someone you would be married to, if only the timing and circumstance were right.
he treats you as a son, but cannot be your father. he arouses jealousy in other men, but also respect. he doesn't look like a prince, but he cares about how he looks. his only flaw is that he must leave, for if he stayed, his imperfections would be discovered.
