Influential Western that started my favorite types of story in the genre. The idea of a strange drifter walking in, helping people out, killing the bad guys, and then leaving just really appeals to me.
One of the best tales of the West, Jack Palannce plays makes a mean villain, and the relationship between Shane and Joey is truly heartwarming.
