The classic tale of the man-whore. even though he seems to be lacking of character, all women fall for him. he stumbles and gets pushed from one situation into the next, and at the other, when he finally is ready to make his own decisions, he gets rejected (and deserves it).
Jack Warden is very funny, Julie Christie very beautiful.
