Review of Shame (2011) by Rob J — 06 Sep 2012
A film that is at once both distant and intimate as it details the 'shame' of the title in the central character's sex addiction - an addiction that lacks any sense of joy or pleasure. Some great tracking shots (the jogging rage scene) and some excellent use of the unerring, lingering camera shot makes this film get under your skin.
