Although at times wavering and dragging, we don't get the chance to disconnect as Fassbender is magnificent and terrifying in equal measure. McQueen doesn't shove anything in your face, he puts it in front of you and allows you to develop your own thoughts.
Any dragging is worth it with the wham bam wind up.
