Review of Shame (2011) by Nicole M — 27 Oct 2012
I loved the cinematography of Shame, it reminded me of the way The social network was shot. The acting is brilliant from both Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan, in fact she hardly ever gets mentioned when people talk about this film the focus is usually on Fassbender, but I thought this was the best role she has played.
I am only giving this 4 stars because even though I thought it was interesting and well acted I didnt really enjoy the actual storyline much, I felt there could have been a bit more added to the relationship between Brandon and Sissy, and also between Brandon and potential girlfriend Marianne.
Overall though I liked it.
