Review of Shame (2011) by John P — 04 Nov 2012
I give this 3 stars based solely on Michael Fassbender and Carey Mulligan's performances which were mesmerizing. Fassbender not getting nominated last year is as big a crime as Gosling not getting a nod.
The direction is good, but the movie seemed to make a strong effort to go super depressing for the shock value point at the end.
