Review of Shame (2011) by Kwong C — 04 Jan 2013
While a bit heavy-handed at times, this indie picture is still a brilliantly raw and disturbing character study with such a vulnerable performance by Michael Fassbender that is so committed and great. Rarely has a film been so effectively harrowing that it makes me never want to watch it again.
And that's a compliment to the filmmakers, I promise.
