Review of Shame (2011) by Jason M — 16 Mar 2013
While structurally simple, Shame is one of the most provocative films of the new decade, both physically and mentally. True to form, Michael Fassbender completely possesses his role of a man consumed by desire but haunted by commitment.
While the film may not have all the answers to the questions it asks, it serves as a cutting examination into the world of obsession and the vulnerability of family.
