Review of Shame (1968) by Mike E — 22 Aug 2007
Fantastic. Finished the film yesterday, and was stunned by its staggering view on war and the changes it inflicts on an individual involved. Not the best of Bergman, but nothing to be scoffed at either.
I always feel his films are like wine... they get better as they age from the first time you saw them. Give me a week, it might go up to 4.5.
